MONTENEGRO

MONTENEGRO

The country is bordered to the north and west by Bosnia-Herzegovina, to the east by Serbia, to the south by Albania and to the south-west by the Adriatic Sea. The coast of Montenegro enjoys a Mediterranean climate with dry summers and mild and rainy winters.

Like most areas along the Mediterranean Sea, the rainfall occurs mainly during the winter. The capital, Podgorica, located on the central plain, is the hottest place in the country, with average summer temperatures of 27 ° C.
The sea temperature varies between 10-12 ° C in winter and 25-28 ° C in summer. The best time to visit Montenegro is during the months between May and September.

Montenegro is a land of contrasts and natural beauty: from the beautiful and indented coast with beautiful beaches (the Montenegrin coast is 293 km long by 73 km of beaches spread over 117 locations) to the interesting historic Venetian towns like Budva and Kotor (Kotor) and up to the high peaks of the mountains Durmitor, Bjelasica, Komovi and Visitor. In coastal cities, there are many attractions throughout the year not to be missed .. one only needs to recall the carnival of Kotor (Kotor), the festival of Mimose in Herceg Novi, the festival of the song "Suncani skale", the film festival, and the "Grad Teatar "in Budva. Not forgetting the memorable feasts on Christmas eve on the streets of coastal cities. Documents:
